Yanhe Tech Completes A2 Funding Round to Accelerate Perovskite PV Commercialization

Yanhe Technology has completed a several-hundred-million-RMB A2 funding round, marking its third financing round within one year.

The round was led by existing shareholder SparkEdge Capital, with co-lead investment from Shunwei Capital and NIO Capital. Lenovo Capital, Yutianguanjia, Comospace, and other institutions also participated, while existing shareholders Oriental Jiafu and Caixin Capital continued to increase their investment. Xingtang Capital, Yundao Capital, and Lingxiao Capital served as financial advisors.

The new funding will support core technology iteration, capacity expansion, the development of space photovoltaics capabilities, and broader ecosystem collaboration. It will further accelerate the commercialization of Yanhe Technology’s perovskite PV solutions across consumer electronics, portable and mobile energy, and space applications.

Yanhe Technology focuses on the differentiated value of perovskite PV: doing what traditional crystalline silicon cannot easily achieve. With advantages in lightweight design, flexibility, low-light performance, and high adaptability, the company is building clean energy solutions for emerging scenarios where conventional solar technologies face limitations.

In consumer electronics, Yanhe Technology has built a 100MW-level automated production line for consumer-grade perovskite solar cells. Its products are designed for compact, low-power, and mobile devices, helping terminals such as keyboards, mice, remote controls, and electronic shelf labels move toward self-powered and battery-free operation.

The company is also expanding into portable energy, vehicle-integrated photovoltaics, building-integrated photovoltaics, and space photovoltaics. In 2026, Yanhe Technology established a Joint Laboratory for Space Computing and Energy with Comospace and entered into a strategic partnership with Hangsheng Satellite to advance next-generation satellite solar wing technologies.

“This round is not only about capital,” said Fan Feng, Founder of Yanhe Technology. “More importantly, it completes a key part of our industrial ecosystem. The participation of industrial capital will help us accelerate the full cycle from technology development to mass production and market deployment.”

As demand grows across AI-powered hardware, battery-free IoT, mobile energy, and commercial space applications, perovskite PV is opening new possibilities for clean energy deployment.

Looking ahead, Yanhe Technology will continue to work with ecosystem partners to advance perovskite PV technologies and build a full-scenario clean energy product matrix from everyday life to the vastness of space.
