Yanhe Technology has won the National Gold Award at the 2nd “Golden Seed Cup” College Student Entrepreneurship Competition. Dr. Zongyang Peng, Co-founder and CTO of Yanhe Technology, presented the project “Commercial Development and Applications of Perovskite Solar Cells” at the national finals, standing out from 24,995 registered projects and 228 finalist teams.

Hosted by the People’s Government of Hunan Province, the competition brought together projects from 725 universities across China, covering fields such as artificial intelligence, new energy, advanced manufacturing, and modern agriculture. The national finals adopted a roadshow and Q&A format, with evaluation by industry experts and public judges.
Yanhe Technology’s award-winning project focuses on the commercialization and real-world application of perovskite solar cells. Leveraging its capabilities across materials, processes, manufacturing, and product development, the company has built a 100MW-level automated production line for consumer-grade perovskite solar cells, supporting the transition of perovskite PV technology from laboratory research to scalable applications.
Today, Yanhe Technology is developing green energy solutions across consumer electronics, portable energy, and space photovoltaics. The company has obtained ISO management system certification, while its products comply with international environmental requirements including RoHS and REACH. Yanhe Technology has also received TÜV Rheinland certification based on the IEC 63163:2021 standard, further recognizing its product performance and reliability.
During the roadshow, Dr. Peng shared Yanhe Technology’s progress in space photovoltaics, including work on high-efficiency perovskite-silicon tandem cells, space cell interconnection, and encapsulation technologies. These developments are laying the foundation for future in-orbit validation and commercial space energy applications.

“The core of hard-tech entrepreneurship is turning laboratory technology into products that are deployable, profitable, and capable of reshaping industries,” said Dr. Peng. “Perovskite is not just a concept. It is a next-generation clean energy technology that is accelerating toward global adoption.”
Winning the National Gold Award marks another recognition of Yanhe Technology’s innovation capabilities and commercialization progress. Looking ahead, the company will continue to advance perovskite photovoltaics across everyday applications and space energy scenarios, building a full-scenario energy product matrix from everyday life to the vastness of space.
